COOKIE INFORMATION
Pursuant to the legislation on the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree no. 196/03 and subsequent amendments and, starting from 25 May 2018, of the General Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016/ UE), Bullcare srls hereinafter, for brevity, "Bullcare") - as Data Controller - provides some information relating to cookies and/or other monitoring technologies while browsing the website www.bullcare.it.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small fragments of text, normally made up of letters and/or numbers, which are sent from the Site and stored by the browser installed on the device you use for browsing. The cookies are then re-transmitted to the Site on your subsequent visit.
Cookies allow us to store information regarding visits to the Site and represent a very useful technology, because they facilitate the functioning of the Site, making it more efficient. Without cookies the Site would have no way of "remembering" certain information, such as, for example, the contents of the shopping cart. Cookies can be classified based on:
duration: session or persistent technical (navigation) cookies;
origin: first-party or third-party cookies;
purposes: strictly necessary cookies, cookies for performance analysis and cookies for behavioral advertising.
Cookies that expire at the end of a browser session (normally when the browser is closed or the session expires) are called session cookies and are useful, for example, to keep the browsing session active. Cookies which, however, are stored for a longer period of time (between one session and another) are called persistent cookies and are useful, for example, for remembering your preferences or for offering targeted advertising.
The definition of first party or third party refers to the website or domain that installs the cookie. First-party cookies are installed directly by the Site, while third-party cookies are installed by a different domain, for example, if the Site incorporates elements from other services, such as advertising platforms.
It is appropriate to specify that the purposes usually performed by a cookie can also be achieved through other similar technologies, including the use of certain features that allow devices to be identified so that visits to the Site can be analysed. This information, in fact, refers to any technology that stores or accesses information on your device. For example, HTML5 local storage, Local Shared Objects (also called flash cookies) and fingerprinting techniques could fall into this category. From now on, when we talk about cookies, this definition will also include other similar technologies.
What types of cookies do we use?
Technical cookies: This website uses technical navigation and functional cookies to ensure and monitor the functionality of the site itself, optimize navigation, guarantee the use of contents and services requested by the user. These cookies, for example, allow us to recognize the selected language and the country from which the user connects to the website. These cookies recognize the user when he reconnects to the website and allow you not to have to re-enter credentials or data at each connection. The use of these cookies is strictly necessary to allow the Website to function properly.
Analytical cookies: This website uses analytical cookies created and provided by third parties (e.g. Google Analytics) and used by the website for statistical analysis of accesses or visits to the website, they allow to optimize the structure, navigation logic and contents, as well as to collect information on the use of the website. For further details and information on Google's Privacy Policy and on Google's use of cookies, please consult the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy https://policies.google.com/technologies A browser plug-in is available at the following link to permanently disable Google Analytics cookies: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.
Marketing/advertising cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about you over time, across different sites, applications and other platforms.
Marketing cookies help us decide which advertisements for products, services and interests to show you, on our site, our apps and on third-party sites and apps.
More specifically, these cookies insert the user into a specific profile of interests, for example based on the sites he visits and his clicks. We use these profiles to display personalized content on our sites. Furthermore, these cookies show personalized advertising based on the user's interests on the site. This practice is called “retargeting” and is based on browsing activities, for example the things the user has searched for. It may also be based on the user's shopping habits or other online activity.
Retargeting ads may be shown to you before and after your visit to the Website, as their purpose is to encourage you to visit or return to our site. You may see these ads on sites, apps, or within emails.
Marketing/advertising cookies integrate social media into our site and apps. This way you can like or share content or products on social media. The “like” and “share” buttons work using snippets of code from individual social media providers, allowing cookies to be placed on your device.
These cookies may be of a purely functional nature, but they can also be used to keep track of which sites you visit on their network, to build a profile of your browsing and to show you personalized advertisements. This profile will be partly built using comparable information that providers receive from your visits to other sites that are part of their network.
To find out more about what social media providers do with your personal data, take a look at their cookie and/or privacy policy: Facebook (includes Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network) and Twitter. Please remember that these policies may be updated from time to time.
We work with trusted third parties to collect data. We may also sometimes share information with these third parties, for example your email address or telephone number. These third parties may link your data to other information they have collected, to create custom audiences or to send targeted advertising. For information on how these third parties manage your data, please see their cookie pages.
How to change cookie settings?
When the user accesses a page of the website, he finds a banner containing a short information. By closing the banner or continuing to browse the website, accessing another area or selecting an element (for example, an image or a link), the user consents to the use of functional cookies exclusively. By clicking on "Accept all", the user consents to the use of all types of cookies.
The approval for the use of cookies is recorded in a specific "technical cookie".
Users can also express their cookie preferences through their browser parameters. By default, almost all web browsers are automatically configured to accept cookies. However, the user has the possibility to modify the pre-set configuration through the browser parameters, which allow you to delete/remove all or some cookies or block the sending of cookies or even limit it to certain websites. Uninstalling/blocking cookies or deleting them could compromise the usability of some areas of the website or alter some features, as well as influence the provision of third-party services.
Your device settings may allow you to limit the sharing of information for retargeting purposes. If you choose to do so, please note that unsubscribing from the advertising network does not mean that you will no longer see or be the recipient of online advertising or marketing analytics. Cancellation only means that you will no longer receive personalized advertising based on your preferences and behavior on the web from the network for which you have chosen to cancel.
Some sites offer a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to tell a site not to track you. At this time, the “Do Not Track” feature offered by some browsers does not work on our site.
